Stop the Bleed Ambassadors
The Stop the Bleed campaign is focused on the serious business of saving lives. To ensure that all Americans are properly trained and equipped, the US Department of Defense licenses organizations to make certain they meet approved training, educational and equipment standards.

Stop the Bleed Scholarship
Are you a high school student? You can help yourself and your school by making a 1 to 2 minute video or writing an essay from 250 to 500 words about one of several Stop the Bleed topics.
Winning students will receive scholarship money towards post secondary education provided by the Stop the Bleeding Coalition. Winning students’ schools will receive free Stop the Bleed Kits. Visit this (coming soon) page for application details.
Stop the Bleed Trainathon
What’s a trainathon?
We’re looking to get as many people trained on NSTBD, on the couple of days that lead up to it and follow it. We also know that there are lots of people who won’t be able to fit that into their schedule so we want them to sign up for news about future trainathons. Details to come!
Stop the Bleed Stories

- Have you experienced traumatic bleeding?
- Have you used your Stop the Bleed training to help someone?
